Bridport Food Festival Fortnight is running from Sunday 12 June – Friday 24 June 2022
If you are passionate about food and where it comes from then you are in for a real treat again at this year’s Bridport Food Festival. Throughout the fortnight the town and surrounding area will be celebrating local food and drink. Food and drink producers are opening their doors to the public to showcase what they do. Restaurants and pubs are preparing special dishes and/or menus, the popular food & drink quiz at the Ropemakers is back as well as the Indian Masterclass by Helen Choudhury at the Taj Mahal. New this year are two farm walks at Tamarisk Organic Farm in West Bexington and Hollis Mead Organic Dairy at Corscombe.
On Saturday 18 June from 9am – 5 pm we will be back at Asker Meadows joining up with the Bridport Round Table Beer Festival to celebrate the areas magnificent food and drink. There will be over 60 local food & drink producers, and food to go caterers offering a whole raft of delicious food and drink for you to try and buy. The popular festival tearoom will be open, there will be live music and entertainment, a picnic area, a raffle with fantastic prizes, a childrens marquee and teen zone, cookery theatre, cooking competition and the Love Food Hate Waste Tent focused on how to save food from the bin to save money!
