Bridport’s first Best Breakfast a Great Success!

We are pleased to report that our first Bridport Best Breakfast was a great success.  We would like to thank everyone who supported the event.  On offer was a full breakfast including a veggie option, toast, apple juice, muesli, tea and coffee.  All sourced locally.

Traditionally dry cured bacon by Denhay Farms.  Absolutely exceptional.  How bacon used to taste!

Superb sausages and black pudding by R J Balson & Sons, Britain’s oldest family butchers

For the vegetarian, locally made halloumi by Simon Fairlie of Monkton Wyld and sourced from Charmouth Dragon Real Food Shop

Tempting toast with bread from the artisan Leakers Bakery including gluten free

Fantastic free range poached eggs, local of course, from Stephie’s Eggs one of our wonderful Bridport street market vendors

Sensational sauteed potatoes, fresh from Bridget’s Market

Brilliant baked beans, homemade by the team to a secret recipe

Delicious coffee, from carefully selected beans which are traditionally roasted in Dorset and supplied by Dorset Coffee Company

Terrific tea by Dorset Tea, smooth and full of flavour

Amazing apple juice by Elwell Fruit Farm, fruit packed and flavoursome

Magnificent homemade muesli by Caroline of Leakers Bakery, you haven’t tried muesli until you’ve tried this!

Marvellous milk by Hangers Dairy – did you know they still deliver to your door?

Homemade jams and marmalades by our wonderful members

Awesome accompaniments from Washingpool Farm, sauces, salt and so much more.  No wonder it’s a Taste of the West Gold award winner.
