Festival High Tea at the Bridge House Beaminster, DT8 3AY 01308 862200
The three-course high tea is priced at £10 per person (includes tea/coffee) or sweet treats at £2.50 per dish, served all day and everyday throughout the festival week. No reservation required, just turn up and enjoy!
Bridport & surrounding area Taste Trail – Your opportunity to sample dishes from many of our local eateries. The process is simple, you buy Taste Trail Tokens and you take the tokens to participating food and drink venues where you can trade them in for sample dishes. This allows you to try out loads of venues in a short period of time and really get a taste of Bridport and the surrounding area.
£3 for a single token or £12 for a strip of 5 tokens
As well as your tokens you will get a handy map of participating venues to help you find your way around as well as information about what dishes will be available at the various venues.
Tokens are available from Bridport Tourist Information Centre. Participating venues will have a small number of tokens for purchase during the event in case you run out on your way around. The list of participating venues and their menus will be published nearer the time.

Baker Owner Caroline Parkins will be welcoming groups of 8 for a tour of the bakery. Cost £5 including refreshments (all proceeds going to the Bridport Food Festival). Tours of the bakery will take place at 9am and 11am. To book call the shop 01308 423296
Indian Cookery Master Class Taj Mahal Restaurant, East Street DT6 3LF 2pm – 4pm
Helen Choudhury, joint owner and chef, will show attendees how to prepare a 3‐course authentic Indian meal. After learning how to cook the meal you will sit down and enjoy the dishes prepared.

This has become a very popular event during the Food Festival Week so early arrival is recommended.
5 course Tasting menu with Sake presented by Shirley Booth, President of British Sake Association at Dorshi Restaurant, Bartholomews Hall, 6 Chancery Lane DT6 3PX
A journey through sake from sparkling to aged. Delicate pairings of sake and ceviche to more robust one like warm sake and dark roast pork belly noodles.

Furleigh Estate Vineyard and Winery Tour & Tasting Salway Ash DT6 5JF starting at 2.30 pm Cost £10 per person
The tour will last approximately 90 minutes and includes a guided tour of the vineyard and winery where you will hear about how their award winning still and sparkling wines are made. The tour finishes at the Cellar Door with a tasting of three of their still and sparkling wines.

Thursday 16 June
7 pm doors open for food producers’ market; 8 pm film starts
A signature mini market with some of the area’s wonderful artisan producers followed by the delightful French comedy film, Comme Un Chef. If you are baffled by the appeal of molecular gastronomy and suspect that it’s all smoke and mirrors, you will love this film! Expect a delicious range of tastings from regular Screen Bites producers from the Bridport area and book your tickets via the Arts Centre. Price £7 per person £5 for members
The Tasting will be titled “New New Zealanders!” and will highlight the excellent new wines from New Zealand. Canapés with a distinctly English flavour will be served on arrival by the Seaside Boarding House team Price £20 per person
Friday 17 June
Queen’s Garden Party at St. Mary’s School Edible Garden, Skilling Hill DT6 5LA 3.30pm – 5.30 pm (FREE admission)
The school will be showcasing all its best outdoor things to the public – especially the growing of food and healthy school meals. The public is invited to look around the raised beds and poly tunnels, as well as tasting foods and drinks made by the school community. There will be celebrations for the Queens’s 90th birthday – singing, dancing and competitions includinga healthy cake for the Queen, best pupils dressed as a Royal and designing an accessory for corgi/or Queen.
Local Producers’ Dinner, Sladers Yard, West Bay DT6 4EL 7.30pm
Four of Sladers Yard’s most fascinating local suppliers will come and present their produce which the the chef will include in a wonderful three-course dinner. Suppliers to include Baboo Gelato who are new makers of gelato and sorbet made from local ingredients based near Netherbury and the acclaimed Burrow Hill Cider who have been making their delicious cider and cider brandy using age-old traditional methods for many years.
